Due to the traditional Korean fermentation method, the black garlic – one of the main components of this cream – is full of phenolic compounds. They are powerful antioxidants that help protect the skin from free radicals. Phenolic compounds also give the cream a strong anti-ageing benefit. When used on the skin, vitamin C can neutralise reactive oxygen species activated by solar radiation and environmental influences such as smoke and pollution. It also helps even out skin tone and gives it brightness. Vitamin C is also an important component in the synthesis of collagen. Sea buckthorn oil supports the benefits of the previous components, as it is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, helps skin to renew and heals damaged skin. Skin is nourished, made more elastic, and moisturised by the combination of coconut oil, shea butter, and almond oil. Vitamin E supports the renewal of skin cells and helps the skin fight against free radicals, working as an anti-ageing agent. The cream does not include any essential oils and the delicate smell comes from the natural ingredients.
The ingredients used in this cream are natural and vegan. This cream is an innovative skincare product developed in collaboration with TalTech scientists, which combines Estonian black garlic fermented according to ancient Korean traditions and the approach of modern science to natural cosmetics.
